Awaken

Awaken is a local faith based organization that shines a light on the issue of commercial sexual trafficking. They provide not just shelter, but also a path to healing and restoration for women who have faced exploitation. SYNC is happy to work alongside of Awaken to uplift these women and their children and to empower them as they work to reclaim their lives. SYNC volunteers prepare meals and treats for Awaken events as well as providing encouragement for the children of Awaken victims through the “Lovin on Kids SYNC Group“

Pathfinders Children’s Ministry

Pathfinders Children’s Ministry serves inner-city at-risk children in the Reno-Sparks area by cooking and serving meals for 100 children and volunteers on selected Friday evenings as well as assisting with the Pathfinders Annual Fundraising Banquet.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)

SYNC is happy to suport the work InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a vibrant, inter-denominational student organization ministering right here at the University of Nevada, Reno. SYNC volunteers have baked hundreds of cookies to share at IVCF outreach events.
