Recap of August 2022 SYNC Meeting

SYNC ladies gathered on Tuesday, August 9th to plan for the upcoming Pathfinders Fundraising Banquet September 23rd. To serve this huge event, we will need  of LOTS of ladies in pink! We are also cooking for Pathfinder’s weekly dinner for the kids August 26th. Let us know if you’d like to help with either of these.

We received great reports of all God is doing through SYNC at Eddy House and Casa daVida.

We put together greeting cards with gift cards inside plus notes of encouragement for the children of Awaken survivors to help with back-to-school expenses. Everyone smiled when we  read the thank-you card from Awaken telling how much the children enjoyed the beach towels and summertime toys we sent last month. Gratitude abounds in knowing we can share with these children that they are abundantly loved by God and by many others.

The highlight of our meeting was our speaker, Vicki Kawelmacher. Vicki shared personal stories and tips to help all of us women stay safe in our homes and when we are out. As a safety advocate and instructor, she brought to light the best thing we can do for our loved ones is protect ourselves. Vicki loves the Lord and loves her family.
