SYNC is teaming up with Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) to provide a delicious brunch for their leadership team meeting on Saturday, January 20th, as they prepare for a new semester of ministry. SYNC will prepare a spread that includes breakfast casseroles, fruit, cinnamon rolls, bacon, croissants, juice, and coffee. This brunch is SYNC's way of showing support for IVCF as they bring the Good News of Jesus to students and Faculty on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.

Join our friends at the Sierra Christian Women's Club for their February Prayer Connection Meeting. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 from 10 am to 11:30 am.

The theme for the luncheon is "Love Never Fails".
The guest speaker for the event will be Laura Johnson. Laura will speak on Finding Purpose in Life.

You're invited! SYNC will hold their annual holiday fundraising luncheon on Friday, December 1st from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm (or so!). Doors open at 11:00 am. The luncheon will take place at Tamarack Junction, 13101 S. Virginia St., Reno.
Join us for a ham or turkey plated lunch, fellowship and an opportunity to share your favorite holiday memories. We will have a great raffle for Christmas-themed gifts.

We are thrilled to announce SYNC’s new partnership with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)! We are joining hands to extend the love of Jesus to students here at the University of Nevada, Reno. This collaboration brings together two organizations committed to making a difference in our community through service and faith.
Recently, we celebrated our new partnership with a Back to School event at UNR, which was nothing short of a cookie extravaganza! SYNC volunteers baked an impressive amount—somewhere between 600-700 cookies! The freshly baked cookies were much appreciated by students who participated in the outreach event.
We are also excited for an upcoming event, “The Great Cookie Bakeoff” happening this Saturday. Several SYNC members will host UNR students in their kitchens for a cookie bake-off. Post baking, the cookies will be taken to Outlook Church for supper and judged by a panel. The remaining cookies will be taken back to the dorms by the students. Stay tuned for the pictures from this event.
We are also considering a potential craft project with IVCF this November.
In the meantime, we want to encourage everyone to support InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. They are doing remarkable work in sharing Jesus’ love with college students. We’re excited about this partnership and look forward to working side by side in service. Together, we can make a difference.

Our friends at Awaken will be hosting their annual banquet at the Peppermill on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. SYNC will be helping with the event by setting up for the banquet.
The day will start with prayer for the event and for the ministry of Awaken from 9 to 10 am. Following the prayer session, we will begin setting up for the banquet from 10 am to 1 pm. Many hands make light work and we would be grateful for any help you can offer during these hours. For those interested in lending a hand, please reach out to Annie Munn directly.
