A Record-Breaking Day for Our Nifty Needles Quilt Group

Wow, what a day we had at our September 21st Nifty Needles meeting! Our group got together and worked their magic today, reaching an all-time record. We crafted and completed a total of 28 quilts in a single meeting! Yes, you heard that right, 28 quilts! This was no ordinary feat; it was a day of teamwork, creativity, and most importantly, the spirit of giving.

The quilts we made are not just beautiful pieces of art; they are also tokens of our love and care. We are proud to announce that 16 of these warm, cozy quilts will be finding their way to the Children’s Cabinet. We hope they bring a sense of comfort and joy to the wonderful kids there.

That’s not all. We have also set aside 12 of our quilts for Real Choices. It is incredibly satisfying to be able to contribute to such a noble cause and touch lives in our own small way.

A big thank you goes out to all of our group members for their hard work and enthusiasm. It’s days like these that truly embody the spirit of our quilt group - crafting with a cause.

As we bask in the afterglow of this accomplished feat, we look forward to many more such productive days. Here’s to crafting more quilts, breaking more records and spreading warmth one stitch at a time.
